At its heart, Acutro delivers Smart Buildings as a Software-as-a-Service platform. It aggregates live data from BMS, core control systems, IoT sensors, metering, CAFM, meteorological feeds and OEM sources into one unified ecosystem. Using real-time analytics, a powerful rules engine and artificial intelligence, the Acutro Core platform scores every asset’s health, dynamically optimises maintenance schedules and prescribes exactly when, and only when, intervention is needed.
The result? Unnecessary planned maintenance disappears. Interventions are front-loaded where live data demands them. Energy waste is slashed. Sustainability targets are hit, not hoped for.
Acutro equips M&E service providers, managing agents, operators, consultants, integrators and asset owners with the operating system for tomorrow’s facilities management, far more than dashboards, APIs or digital twins. It is the digital-first framework for how maintenance should be delivered in an AI-powered world.

Founding story
We founded Acutro in late 2020 with a simple but determined belief: the smart buildings industry could, and should do better.
At the time, many valuable solutions focused on energy optimisation, sustainability reporting, comfort control and BMS analytics. These had their place, but we saw a deeper opportunity. Buildings deserved technology that genuinely connected performance data with day-to-day operations and maintenance delivering more value, seamless integrations, fairer licensing and real intelligence at the core.
We were fortunate to achieve early product-market fit within the first 18 months. Our prototype resonated with respected figures across the industry who shared our vision of what was possible. Their belief in the same future gave us real encouragement.
By early 2023 we had begun partnering with reputable asset owners and forward-thinking FM service providers. They were ready to move from yesterday’s rigid, time-based maintenance models to a genuinely data-led approach. The more conversations we had with leaders in facilities and property management, the clearer it became: this shift was needed far more widely than we had first realised.
What started as a market gap has grown into our shared purpose. Acutro is now our quiet obsession; a genuine mission to keep innovating and to champion a truly partner-first way of delivering technology-led building operations.
